A timeless icon
Our RDL collection celebrates 30 years since its launch, a chair made of 100% wood, essential, unique and timeless, which over time has given rise to a family of seats, born from its iconic design.
This collection was born in 1991 as RADICAL and in 2002 it was renamed as RDL, so that its radicality was even more graphic.
RDL is the concept of universal chair purified to the maximum and represents the chairness as a synthesis of the essence of all the chairs, formulated as a constructive and formal manifesto.
It is constructed of only solid oak wood and a thin curved veneer of the same wood, without hardware or accessories. The Lievore Altherr Molina studio was founded in 1991 from the union of three exceptional creators, Alberto Lievore, Jeannette Altherr and Manel Molina. In 1999 they received the National Design Award, in addition to numerous other national and international awards, throughout their career.
Andreu World wants to celebrate 30 years of RDL as one more prize, in homage to their work and fo having been part of our shared project during all this time.
