Among them, we have developed a treatment for steel called EPL5 that is applied to collections such as Trenza, Sand, and Sombra. This treatment consists of a series of electrolytic processes that provide a homogenous coating and maximum protection of the piece. This is the same process used for cars, boats, and appliances. The highly protective finish is the result of combining phosphate, electrolyte, and polyester varnish to create absolute resistance to corrosion and UV rays. The EPL5 finish is not only a physical coating but is molecularly fused to metal electrochemically thus producing the perfect high adhesion coating. Additionally, this coating protects against impacts, deformation, and chemicals. This process is 100% sustainable as it allows for 100% yield of the material and is low emitting. Plus, no special maintenance is required, only soap and water.
