In the city that never sleeps, work is a religion. The mouth of the Hudson River articulates its five districts, with the island of Manhattan in the center, which for decades has become the mirror in which the world's major cities are reflected. Its influence on a global scale can be seen in politics, the media, entertainment, education and cultural movements. Also in fashion, art and architecture. And of course, in the economy and business, symbolized by its skyline of skyscrapers where the most influential companies and financial institutions on the planet are headquartered.
We could say that it is the perfect laboratory for testing the changes that are taking place in workspaces, from offices to schools and libraries. The Big Apple occupies an urban area of barely 85 square kilometers through which New Yorkers and tourists (more than 50 million every year) wander every day. A good number of them – more than 500,000 – converge every day in places like the historic Grand Central Terminal station, which is very close to Andreu World’s showroom, located in the New York Design Center, at 200 Lexington Avenue, Suite 111. Anything is possible in New York.
Thus, the most prestigious offices have furniture to match the business carried out in their spaces, for example, AMC Networks has Flex Corporate chairs throughout its ten-story headquarters designed by Starret and Van Vleck, or the J.Crew Offices that were transformed with pieces such as Smart, Smile, Quattro and Raglan.

Agern Restaurant is set up in this cinematic setting, inside the train station, between Vanderbilt Hall and the Southwest 42nd Street entrance. The space was formerly a barber shop and originally the men's waiting room. A single table with two Nub chairs was arranged at Grand Central Terminal to enjoy a unique Valentine's Day dinner. The lucky winners were chosen from among the 750,000 visitors and passengers who pass through the station daily, after registering for the draw. The prize was three courses, with wine pairings, from the Michelin-starred kitchen located in this famous venue.
The time of the reservation was also exceptional, at 2:30 a.m. It was necessary to wait until the Grand Central Terminal was closed to the public, as it is every day, from 2:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
