 Meet the Jury of the 25th Andreu World International Design Contest

Andreu World presents the international jury of the 25th International Design Contest, in its special edition “Manufacturing the Future”, celebrating 25 years of the competition’s trajectory. The 2026 jury is chaired by Pradyumna Vyas, President of the World Design Organization (WDO), and includes Natalia Zubizarreta, interior designer; Stefan Diez, industrial designer; and Álvaro Matías, director of Madrid Design Festival. A team that brings together different perspectives from design, architecture and contemporary culture to evaluate proposals from a global point of view.

 

Pradyumna Vyas  

President of the World Design Organization (WDO)

 

Pradyumna Vyas will serve as president of the jury for the 2026 Contest. He is a key figure in the global promotion of design, with more than 35 years of experience in academic and institutional fields. He has been Director of the National Institute of Design (NID) in India and is currently Senior Advisor at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), as well as President-Elect of the World Design Organization (WDO). 

 

His career is closely linked to the development of design policies, leading initiatives such as the National Design Policy and the India Design Mark. His work has contributed to positioning design as a tool for innovation, social development and sustainability at an international level.

 

 

 

Annamaria Anderloni  

Partner, Interior Designer – Foster + Partners

 

Annamaria Anderloni is an architect and interior designer specialized in hospitality, residential and corporate projects, with a strong international background. Educated at the University of Turin and ENSCI Paris, she is a partner at Foster + Partners, where she has led the interior design of large-scale projects. 

 

Her work includes the Four Seasons Hotel at the Comcast Technology Center, the ME Hotel London and the Yacht Club de Monaco. Her profile combines architectural rigor, spatial sensitivity and international experience, with a contemporary vision of interior design.

 

 

 

Stefan Diez 

Diseñador Industrial

 

Stefan Diez is one of the most influential industrial designers of his generation, with a career defined by technical innovation, sustainability and circular design. Trained at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart and with roots in craftsmanship, he founded DIEZ OFFICE in Munich in 2003, where he develops projects for leading international brands. 

 

He has collaborated with global companies, creating furniture and systems recognized for their precision and responsible approach. He currently heads the Industrial Design department at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, consolidating his influence in both academic and professional fields.

 

 

 

Natalia Zubizarreta

Interior Designer

 

Natalia Zubizarreta is an interior designer, entrepreneur and communicator with more than 20 years of experience in residential interior design. Founder of her studio in Bilbao, she has developed more than 300 projects, characterized by a timeless, balanced and quality-driven approach. 

 

She combines her professional activity with education and mentoring, building a strong digital community. Her work has been recognized with awards such as Deco Influencer 2024 and Best Decoration Influencer 2025, positioning her as an influential voice in the field.

 

 

 

Álvaro Matías

Director of Madrid Design Festival

 

Álvaro Matías is a cultural manager and expert in creative industries, with a career focused on the intersection of design, culture and communication. He is the founder and director of the Madrid Design Festival, one of Spain’s leading platforms for design dissemination. 

 

After his time at La Fábrica, where he served as General Director, he founded ALMADÁS, a consultancy that drives projects through creativity as a tool for transformation. His work connects strategy, content and culture, highlighting initiatives such as FORMA and the Wool Alliance.

 

 

 

Since its creation in 2001, the contest has welcomed more than 35,800 designers from 128 countries and has counted on the collaboration of 127 international jurors, establishing itself as a leading platform to promote the design of the future.
