The influence of design on human behavior

More flexible and productive workspaces

At Andreu World, we understand the ability to promote productivity and social commitment through design.

We spend most of our lives indoors, especially in the workplace. As a result, the environment around us plays a crucial role in our behavior and well-being.

Arch-Daily's article, "How can architecture be designed to reflect human behavior?" outlines the new architectural approach, which addresses how architectural elements, materials, cultural contexts and uses influence the way we act and relate in the spaces where we live or work.  By merging both disciplines, designers can offer a deeper understanding of how spaces influence our behavior.

In this sense, at Andreu World we understand the importance of the relationship between the constructed environment and those who inhabit it. Not only in aesthetics, but also in the ability to promote, through design, productivity and social engagement in a positive and pleasant environment.

One example of this is the ecosystem of coworking spaces, which allows collaboration, flexibility and interaction between people.  These are constantly evolving work environments whose needs are met perfectly with the In Out Office collection, created by designer Alfredo Häberli. The open, organic backrest is a distinctive feature of In Out Office, allowing for an ergonomic and focused posture. In addition it has a well-thought out acoustic absorption that allows you to work individually or collaboratively in a healthier and more productive environment where you can feel "at home".

The collection includes the In Out Office Monoplace versions, featuring comfortable armchairs with side table, both enveloped in an upholstered panel available in various heights.

According to Christele Harrouk, in her ArchDaily article, "Environmental psychology or spatial psychology is the interaction between people and the spaces they inhabit. Lighting, colors, configuration, scale, proportions, acoustics and materials address the individual's senses and generate a spectrum of feelings and practices”.

While it is true that when there is freedom to adapt design elements according to individual preferences and needs, an environment is created that reflects the identity and lifestyle of each person and/or company. This personalization provides a sense of belonging and connection with the environment, fostering greater satisfaction and well-being. For this reason, at Andreu World we provide the option to customize each design according to the specific preferences and needs of each workspace and its users.

From a wide variety of configurations that can be made with modular sofas to customized dimensions in meeting tables, we offer an infinite range of possibilities to suit any requirement. In addition, various connectivity options are integrated, ensuring efficiency and productivity in the workspace.
