A children's home in Namibia
We collaborated with Foundawtion in equipping spaces for the Namaqua Kalahari Children’s Hope project.
A safe place for 60 boys and girls to grow, learn, and live with dignity, free from violence and abuse
The Namaqua Kalahari Children's Hope project, promoted by Foundawtion in Gochas, Namibia, aims to provide a safe and dignified home for 60 vulnerable children. The center, which has recently been opened, has been designed as a place to live, learn, and grow in a stable and caring environment.
Andreu World has helped bring this new home to life by furnishing its spaces with furniture designed to accompany the daily lives of the children. Seats, tables, and sofa beds are present during moments of rest, shared meals, and daily learning, helping to create welcoming, functional, and safe spaces where the children can feel protected and at home.
Spaces that care
Design plays an essential role in creating welcoming and safe environments. The project seeks to create environments that promote well-being, coexistence, and stability, focusing on durability, comfort, and the wellbeing of children.
Namaqua Kalahari Children’s Hope reflects an understanding of design that transcends its immediate function and serves people, helping to create more dignified living conditions where they are most needed.
